Educational Activist & Artist
Dr. Rogers is an independent scholar and artist who writes and hosts a social media based-series that highlights the work and leadership of underrepresented populations through a race, gender, and social justice perspective. Dr. Rogers aims to demonstrate the day-to-day triumphs of Black and Brown people through creative, engaging, and dynamic platforms and media.
Global Influencer
Dr. Rogers works, nationally and internationally, on matters related to leadership, culture, and education. She has lived and studied in Spain, Costa Rica, England, and the Dominican Republic. She has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Kenya to conduct research, to work with grassroots organizations, and to design international education projects for diverse American high school and college students and professionals.
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Rogers is a commentator and speaker on social and educational matters from a critical race theory and social justice context. She leads audiences through a journey using words. The essence of her message is to interrupt the status quo and challenge audiences to act on the behalf of social, educational, and health matters. Dr. Rogers weaves in media, personal narratives, and humor when speaking to bridge a connection with audiences.
