This collection has been a four-year labor of love, shaped by growth, tenderness, heartache, travel, leadership, writing, and fear. Along the way, I had to face the quiet ways fear had narrowed my life and kept me from embracing the fullness of who I am. Through these poems, I learned that the homecoming I had been longing for was not waiting somewhere beyond me—it had been unfolding, breath by breath, within me all along.
I offer these pages to you with humility and an open heart, hoping you’ll discover a reflection of yourself among them, too.
